Sustainable access to effective antibiotics

The UN High-Level Meeting on Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) in September 2024 will focus on addressing this global health threat. Leaders must commit to addressing evidence gaps and establish progress tracking structures. Access to effective antibiotics is a key public health priority. The new IFPMA position paper explores challenges in ensuring safe, quality-assured antibiotics and proposes policy changes for consideration.
